vivo just released its new Y76 5G that features a 50MP camera, 44W charging, and the cheapest 5G chipset of MediaTek.

vivo Y76 5G is now official!
This new Y76 5G is the vanilla version of vivo’s latest Y76s 5G which they announced weeks ago. These two phones have the same looks and design, but of course, the vanilla version comes with downgrade internals. In terms of software, the Y76 5G runs Funtouch OS 12 based on Android 11 instead of OriginOS.
The new vivo Y76 5G powers up with MediaTek’s budget 5G processor, the 7nm Dimensity 700. Even this processor is not powerful as other mid-range chipsets, it can still provide good performance. vivo partnered it with large 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage to boost more the performance.
According to vivo, it features an Extended RAM technology 2.0 version too that can give you an additional 4GB Virtual RAM. With a total of 12GB RAM, it can support up to 25 apps running in the background with no lag. With that, you can seamlessly switch between apps.

This new smartphone features a large 6.58-inch FHD+ resolution LCD panel that comes with 96% color gamut and 460 max brightness. It can also give you a vivid display since it has a 96% NTSC color gamut. However, it does not come with a higher screen refresh rate even though its processor is capable.
Moreover, it also boasts a 16MP selfie camera and 50MP AI triple rear camera setup. Along with this 50MP main shooter is a 2MP bokeh camera, and a 2MP macro camera. This phone features clear imaging, AI extreme night selfie, super night mode, dual-view video, and ultra-stable video mode.
For the battery, it comes with a decent 4,100mAh battery capacity and supports 44W FlashCharge. Using this fast charger, vivo mentioned that it can charge your phone up to 70% in just 32 minutes of charging time.

There is also good news for gamers because it features Ultra Game Mode 2.0 that can maximize your gaming experience. Apart from that, it also boasts the Multi-Turbo feature that optimizes network usage, heat dissipation, AI, and gaming performance. It also comes with a Five-Dimensional Liquid Cooling system. vivo claimed that it can cool down your phone by 10 degrees, which makes the performance stable.
Price and availability
The new vivo Y76 5G is available in Midnight Space and Cosmic Aurora. As of writing, it is currently available on sale in Malaysia for only MYR 1,299 (around PHP 15.5k). There’s no information yet about its local pricing and availability.
