realme announced its latest budget smartphone, the new Narzo 50 with 120Hz and Helio G96.
realme Narzo 50: Mighty Performance Boosted
This Narzo 50 comes with a lot of upgrades over its predecessor, the realme Narzo 30. It is quite similar to the realme 8i, but this comes with a higher 33W fast charging support, up from 18W of the 8i. realme also uses a 12nm MediaTek Helio G96 octa-core processor in this phone. This chipset can already give you a decent gaming experience, and of course, it is also good for daily use.
They also packed it with up to 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB UFS 2.1 fast internal storage. According to realme, it also supports Dynamic RAM Expansion (DRE) technology, which adds up to 5GB Virtual RAM. With a total of 11GB RAM, expect a seamless multitasking experience and extremely smooth gameplay. Besides, it also has a dedicated Card slot that supports an up to 1TB microSD card.
To experience more its smooth gaming experience, it features a 6.6-inch display panel with 120Hz fluid screen refresh rate support. Its screen has FHD+ resolution, 401PPI, and supports up to 180Hz touch sampling rate. Also, just like other phones, it features a Dynamic screen refresh rate which has 6 level refresh rates.
As for the camera, it has a 50MP main shooter, 2MP macro lens, and 2MP mono lens. It also has a 16MP In-display selfie camera. Its camera supports ultra-steady video mode, 50MP mode, ultra-macro, AI scene recognition, slow motion, and night mode.
Moreover, this phone also comes with a 5,000mAh large battery capacity for all-day usage. Just what I have mentioned above, you can charge it with a 33W Dart Charge via USB Type-C port. realme claimed that this 33W charger has increased charging speed up to 36% compared to competitors.
Other features of this phone are WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, LTE connectivity, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, Android 11, and realme UI 2.0. Meanwhile, the available color options for this phone are Speed Blue and Speed Black.
Price and availability
The new Narzo 50 will be available in India on March 3 with a price starting at INR 12,999 (around PHP 8.8K). However, there’s no announcement yet regarding its global availability and pricing, so stay tuned!
