nubia has announced its new flagship smartphone in China, the nubia Z40 Pro with powerhouse specifications.
nubia launched its latest flagship smartphone!
First, it features a large 6.67-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and supports a very smooth 144Hz screen refresh rate. This screen panel also has 100% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage and has a maximum of 1,000nits brightness. Besides, there is also a punch-hole in its top-center screen that carries a 16MP selfie camera.
At the back, you can see nubia branding along with its big camera island that has a triple camera setup. This setup consists 64MP Sony IMX787 35mm main shooter, 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, an 8MP telephoto lens, and an LED flash. It also features an astronomical image processing system, optical image stabilization, optical blur, CDI-P3 color gamut management, and more.
Moreover, inside this phone is the latest powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 octa-core flagship
chipset. It will also come with up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 1TB UFS 3.1
fast internal storage. According to nubia, you cannot expand its storage since
it does not come with a microSD card slot. This device also boasts its “Cool
core” heat dissipation nine-layer aerospace-grade microcavity graphene.
For its battery, it holds a large 5,000mAh capacity that supports up to 80W fast wired charging support. However, there is also a limited “Gravity Edition” of this phone that has a smaller 4,600mAh battery. Meanwhile, this Gravity Edition supports 66W wired charging and has magnetic charging technology.
The nubia Z40 Pro also features an in-display fingerprint scanner, 5G connectivity, NFC, USB 3.1 Type-C port, Bluetooth 5.2, and WiFi 6. In addition, this phone runs MyOS 12 based on Android 12 out of the box.
Price and availability
The ZTE nubia Z40 Pro is now available in China with pricing starting at CNY 3,399 (around PHP 27.6K). There’s no information yet if this phone will be available locally, so stay updated.
