DJI officially announces Mini 3 Pro with a new image sensor, larger aperture, vertical filming, bigger battery, and more upgrades.
DJI just launched the new Mini 3 Pro
The latest DJI Mini 3 Pro has a new 48MP camera, a 1/1.3-inch sensor with an f/1.7 aperture which is best for low-light sceneries. It is also capable with 4K 60fps, HDR at 4K 30fps, and 1080P 120fps video recording. You can also shoot a flat color profile in this device for more color options in post-production.
This drone supports 90-degree downward and 60-degree upwards gimbal rotation for vertical social media imagery. It also features Advanced Pilot Assistance Systems (APAS 4.0) which identifies obstacles in the flight path in real-time. Just do take note that it does not have sensors on the back. Meanwhile, it also contains ActiveTrack 4.0, which allows it to track subjects autonomously from behind or while flying parallel to the side.
According to DJI, you can use this device with an extended flight time of up to 34 minutes. There is also an available battery upgrade called Intelligent Flight Battery Plus for up to 47 minutes of flight time.
The Mini 3 Pro also weighs under 249g which means that you don’t need to register it with the FAA. But if you use its upgraded battery, it will be heavier than 250 grams. Therefore, register it with the FAA if you want this upgraded battery.
Moreover, DJI also released the new DJI RC remote control that has a 5.5-inch built-in display with up to 700nits brightness. You don’t need a phone once you bought this remote controller.
