The latest OnePlus 11 5G and OnePlus Buds Pro 2 was officially unveiled in the Chinese market ahead of their global debut on February 7.Â
OnePlus 11 5GÂ
Even though it does not have Pro in its name, the new OnePlus 11 5G comes with flagship hardware and features. Compared to the previous OnePlus 10T, this phone now has a 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 octa-core processor.Â
The OnePlus 11 5G also comes with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 fast internal storage. Unfortunately, this phone still lacks a microSD card slot.Â
As for the battery, it has a large 5,000mAh battery capacity that supports a fast 100W SuperVOOC fast charging technology. This charger may likely be able to fully charge the device in under 30 minutes. However, just like the OnePlus 10T, it also doesn’t support wireless charging.Â
Moreover, this device boasts a large 6.7-inch LTPO3 AMOLED display with QHD+ resolution and supports a 120Hz refresh rate. It also supports an in-display fingerprint scanner, HDR10+, and Gorilla Glass Victus protection.Â
At the back, you will see its renewed camera island that encases the Hasselblad camera setup including the 50MP Sony IMX890 main shooter, 48MP Sony IMX581 ultra-wide-angle lens, as well as 32MP Sony IMX709 telephoto lens. Meanwhile, it also boasts a 16MP selfie camera carried in a punch hole in the upper left corner.Â
OnePlus fans are happy again since the company brought back the alert slider in OnePlus 11 5G. To recall, OnePlus 10T doesn’t feature an alert slider which causes fans to be disappointed.Â
In addition, this device will run ColorOS 13 based on Android 13 out of the box. This phone also features dual stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos, WiFi 6, 5G, 4G, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, GPS, GLONASS, and dual nano SIM support. It is also worth mentioning that it arrives with no 3.5mm headphone jack.Â
OnePlus Buds Pro 2Â
Furthermore, OnePlus also launched its new TWS earbuds, the OnePlus Buds Pro 2. This new TWS earbuds look like its predecessor which feature a matte finish design. But this new one arrives with Dynaudio tuning, Dolby Atmos spatial audio, and improved noise canceling.Â
OnePlus Buds Pro 2 uses the same 6mm planar diaphragm drivers and 11mm dynamic drivers. The earbuds’ ANC technology and Bluetooth 5.3 compatibility should cancel out up to 48dB of ambient noise. For the best voice pickup and noise cancellation, each earbud has three microphones.Â
Besides, it supports AAC, SBC, and LC3 codecs, but the support for the LHDC 5.0 audio codec for high-res audio streaming over Bluetooth will be available in the future software update.Â
According to OnePlus, the Buds Pro 2 has a 39-hour battery life when used with their charging case and Active Noise Cancellation is turned off. The case can be charged wirelessly with any Qi charger or wired using a USB-C cable. Lastly, the TWS also comes in Black and Green colorways.Â
