Infinix has now unveiled its 260W All-Round FastCharge wired charging and 110W All-Round Wireless FastCharge charging technologies. This news follows Realme’s announcement of the world’s fastest-charging smartphone which is only 240W charging.

These technologies offered by Infinix make use of a 4-Pump Intelligent Circuit Design, which recognizes power requirements intelligently and employs the appropriate amount of charge pumps. Along with this charging, Infinix also stated an updated 12C high-rate 4,400mAh battery with a multi-electrode lug construction.

The battery has a 98.5% charging conversion efficiency. So, it is a good thing that battery durability should also be improved. According to Infinix, this battery still has over 90% of its original energy after 1,000 charging cycles.

A charging cable that adapts the Emarker identification chip is used by the Infinix charger. It permits current flows of up to 13A, which when combined with Infinix’s charging technology delivers 260W charging.

For the 110W fast wireless charging, it can now charge a device with a 4,400mAh battery capacity from 0% to 100% in 16 minutes. Custom-made small-sensitive coils are used in this wireless charging system, which features fewer coils than traditional models.

According to Infinix, this solution lowers internal coil resistance, which in turn lessens phone temperature rise. Also, it increases the peak power charging time and boosts wireless charging efficiency.

With a twin coil design for both vertical and horizontal charging, the company’s specially built 110W wireless charging is efficient. An additional fan for sound-free air cooling is located at the back of the charging station. Of course, doing so will increase the effectiveness of heat dissipation.

Reverse charging, bypass charging, and multi-protocol charging were also mentioned by Infinix as being a part of its innovative technology. Several fast charging protocols, including PD 3.0, are compatible with the reverse charging feature.

Last but not least, Infinix integrated over 140 protection mechanisms and more than 20 temperature sensors for safety reasons. The next generation Infinix NOTE series, most likely the Infinix 13, will introduce the company’s All-Round FastCharge technology.
