Infinix HOT 30 Play is now official
The Infinix HOT 30 Play features a large 6.82-inch HD+ IPS display that supports a 90Hz screen refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. This screen also has up to 500nits max brightness and 85% NTSC wide color gamut. Besides, no more waterdrop notch since this phone already has a punch-hole display.Â
Its punch hole carries an 8MP selfie camera, while there are 16MP and AI cameras at the back of the phone. Infinix claims that it has a new background algorithm and its portrait mode with AI bokeh makes good portraits. It also boasts that it can shoot super slow motion with 120fps video recording. For normal video recording, it can shoot up to 1080p@30fps.Â
For performance, it is just okay for casual usage but not for gaming since it still features a 12nm MediaTek Helio G37 octa-core processor that has PowerVR GE8320 GPU. Infinix paired this processor with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB EMMC internal storage that is expandable up to 1TB via microSD card. Â
Like other phones, it also features a RAM expansion feature of up to 8GB Virtual RAM, giving a total of 16GB RAM.Â
Infinix HOT 30 Play also got a large 6,000mAh battery capacity that is enough to have up to two days of usage. This phone also supports 18W fast charging technology, which can fully charge the device within two to three hours.Â
Other features of this phone are a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 4G LTE, WiFi 5, Bluetooth, OTG, a 3.5mm headphone jack, USB Type-C, and a dedicated SIM slot. It also runs XOS 12 based on Android 13 out of the box. While the available colorways of this phone are Mirage Black, Blade White, and Bora Purple.Â
