Introducing Meta Quest 3, the cutting-edge virtual and mixed reality headset, recently unveiled by Mark Zuckerberg.

This highly-anticipated next-generation device is set to launch later this year, boasting a myriad of exciting improvements. With enhanced resolution, superior performance, revolutionary Meta Reality technology, and a sleeker, more comfortable design, Quest 3 promises an unparalleled immersive experience. This remarkable headset will be available worldwide in countries currently supporting Meta Quest, arriving in the fall. Starting at $499.99 USD for the 128GB version, Meta also plans to offer an additional storage option for those seeking extra capacity. Don’t forget to mark your calendars for Meta Connect, returning on September 27, where we’ll unveil even more exciting updates and details.

Furthermore, Meta has ensured that the new Meta Quest 3 remains compatible with the extensive library of games available for the Quest 2. This is great news considering the Quest 2 will continue to be available at a lower price point. Beginning June 4th, Meta has announced a significant price reduction for the Quest 2. The 128GB version will now be priced at $299.99, marking a $100 decrease. Similarly, the 256GB version will be priced at $349.99, reflecting an $80 price cut from its previous cost of $429.99. This price adjustment effectively reverses last year’s price increase on the base model and offers the version with additional storage at a more affordable price than before.

Moreover, an imminent software update for both the Quest 2 and the higher-end Quest Pro from Meta will bring about substantial enhancements. These updates will boost the CPU and GPU performance of the headsets, elevating their overall capabilities. Additionally, the update will introduce Dynamic Resolution Scaling, a feature that dynamically adjusts the resolution of the visuals based on the demands of the content being displayed. This advancement ensures optimal image quality and performance, providing users with an even more immersive and seamless experience.
