Recently, we reviewed an affordable smartphone by Itel that also offered decent features, but did you know that Itel also has an affordable tablet? With PHP 6K budget, you can buy the itel Pad 1 with up to 4GB RAM and up to 128GB storage.Â
The new itel Pad 1 affordable tablet
Actually, this itel Pad 1 has similar specifications to itel A60s that we recently reviewed. The itel Pad 1 has been available on the market for quite some time but with a lower 2GB RAM and 64GB storage configuration. At least, its memory configuration is bigger now, which allows for better performance and capacity. Â
You can use this tablet to do your regular tasks such as browsing social media, online shopping, and light gaming with the use of its 28nm UNISOC S9863A1 octa-core processor that has PowerVR GE8322 GPU. We also recommend you get the 4GB/128GB configuration to experience fewer performance hiccups. Besides, it will also surely give the same performance as the itel A60s because it uses the same processor.Â
This affordable itel Pad 1 also features a large 10.1-inch IPS display with HD+ resolution. Unfortunately, it does not offer a high refresh rate, which is acceptable because of its cheap price. You can also get decent photos with its 5MP rear camera and 8MP selfie camera.Â
Moreover, this tablet is also equipped with a large 6,000mAh juice which will give you long battery life. However, it only supports 10W charging which is quite slow for a large battery capacity. It can take maybe 3 hours before fully charging the device.Â
For connectivity, it has a single SIM that supports a 4G LTE data connection, 2.4GHz WiFi, and a USB Type-C port. While it also runs itelOS based on Android 12 Go edition. Â
If you buy this tablet, I personally suggest just installing lite versions of apps like Facebook Lite, Messenger Lite, and Twitter Lite, to experience optimal performance. But based on my experience with the A60s (given that they almost have the same specifications), this itel Pad 1 is fine.Â
