HONOR, a leading smart devices provider, made a noteworthy premiere at VivaTech, one of Europe’s largest technology and innovation events. HONOR unveiled its revolutionary Four-Layer AI Strategy, highlighting its dedication to on-device AI.
During the discussion, George Zhao, CEO of Honor Device Co., Ltd. Also unveiled are the next Gen-AI experiences in conjunction with Google Cloud, which will be integrated into the highly awaited smartphones.
“At HONOR, we believe in harnessing on-device AI’s personalization, intuitiveness, and privacy protection to unlock AI’s full potential safely. We are excited to collaborate with Google Cloud to push the boundaries of this hybrid approach and deliver seamless AI experiences to our users,” George Zhao added.
HONOR’s Four-Layer AI Architecture
The Four-Layer AI Architecture consists of cross-device and cross-OS AI, platform-level AI, app-level AI, and an interface to cloud-AI services. The Cross-device and Cross-OS AI is the underlying layer that supports an open environment by allowing processing power and service sharing amongst HONOR devices and operating systems.
Second, platform-level AI personalizes the operating system, allowing for intent-based human-computer interaction and effective resource management. App-level AI creates new, generative AI apps that transform user experiences. Finally, the Interface to Cloud-AI Services guarantees that users have access to a wide range of cloud services while preserving privacy.
