The FIBER ALWAYS ON internet modem, which provides fiber connectivity and an LTE data connection at a reasonable cost, was released by PLDT.

Roy Victor E. Añonuevo, the vice president and head of PLDT Home Broadband Product Management, said during the briefing, “Seamless broadband connectivity is no longer a convenience but rather a necessity. It is actually similar already to our utilities of water and electricity, which we need always on, always available.”
The gap between a line and the internet has been solved by this new plan. In the case of fiber drops, the primary goal is to be “always online,” as the name says. Users will find it simpler to access the internet anytime they need it since the LTE will serve as a backup link to keep them connected and minimize any inconvenience during interruptions.
Additionally, users don’t have to worry about the data connection load because it will be covered by the fiber package they have chosen from PLDT. Customers may experience uninterrupted and lag-free internet streaming by purchasing it as an add-on to their current internet plan for just PHP 299 per month.
You don’t need to be concerned about internet connectivity issues. It’s also important to note that if your router loses its fiber connection, an immediate service request will be sent for a quick fix. This may be very useful in case of emergency or unexpected internet failures when working, playing games, or just watching YouTube or Netflix films.
About the LTE data, which is powered by Smart, it will remain unlimited. For a smooth connection, this supports WiFi 6 with 2.4GHz or 5GHz bands. Additionally, it makes use of LTE Cat 6, which offers upload and download rates of up to 50 Mbps and 300 Mbps, respectively. However, speed still varies depending on which location you are.
