HUAWEI has officially launched the HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 Series in the Philippines, introducing upgraded sports tracking, comprehensive health monitoring, and AI-powered coaching features ahead of its May 22 availability.
Leading the lineup is the HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 Pro, featuring a 1.92-inch 2.5D sapphire glass display, titanium alloy bezel, and a lightweight 30.4 g body. HUAWEI also introduced a White edition using Aerospace-Grade Nanoceramic Metal for improved wear and scratch resistance.
The smartwatch series focuses heavily on health management with continuous pulse wave arrhythmia analysis, women’s health monitoring through temperature-based cycle prediction, and an advanced ECG app exclusive to the WATCH FIT 5 Pro, which HUAWEI describes as an on-wrist “stethoscope.”
HUAWEI also introduced its industry-first Diabetes Risk Study feature that uses PPG-based vascular signal analysis to identify potential metabolic risks non-invasively. The system gathers sleep and vital sign data over three to fourteen days to help users detect risks during asymptomatic stages.
For active users, the WATCH FIT 5 Pro supports trail running, cycling, golf, freediving up to 40 meters, and pickleball through the PickleX app. The app tracks metrics including racket swings, shot counts, heart rate, and calories burned.
The new “mini-workout” feature also offers quick guided exercises with an interactive panda animation, helping users relieve neck, shoulder, and back stiffness even while seated. The smartwatch series supports over 100 sports modes overall.

HUAWEI is offering early-bird deals for Filipino buyers starting May 15. Shoppers on Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop can claim a PHP 1,000 voucher for the HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 Series.
