COLORFUL has announced the Chitu MAG-60 Magnetic Switch Keyboard, a limited-edition magnetic mechanical keyboard inspired by the Chinese zodiac sign for 2026, the Year of the Horse. Combining traditional Chinese design elements with modern gaming-focused technology, the keyboard is aimed at collectors and competitive gamers.
The Chitu MAG-60 will be limited to just 300 units worldwide, making it one of the brand’s most exclusive keyboards ever.
Inspired by the Legendary Red Hare
The keyboard takes inspiration from Chitu (Red Hare), the legendary horse from Chinese history and folklore. Its design incorporates traditional motifs such as Han Dynasty horse carvings, cloud patterns, and a vermilion-red finish inspired by classic Chinese seal art.
COLORFUL has also used premium materials throughout the keyboard, with imported Alcantara suede with embossed cloud details for the top cover and handcrafted full-grain leather accents for the sides.
Collector-Focused Design
Built around a CNC-machined T6 aluminum case, the Chitu MAG-60 features a multi-layer anodized finish and custom artwork integrated into the bottom case.
Each unit comes with an individually engraved serial number, highlighting its limited production status. The keyboard also includes two custom metal artisan keycaps featuring horse-themed engravings that complement its overall design.
With only 300 units planned globally, the Chitu MAG-60 is positioned as a collector-grade peripheral rather than just a standard gaming keyboard.

The Chitu MAG-60 is equipped with TMR (Tunnel Magnetoresistance) sensing technology, an alternative to traditional Hall-effect implementations commonly found in magnetic switch keyboards.
COLORFUL claims the technology offers 90% lower power consumption, 3x improved thermal stability, and greater resistance to interference.

According to COLORFUL, these switches feature a triple-layer acoustic structure designed to produce a distinct typing sound while maintaining smooth keystrokes. The switches also use custom rare-earth magnets and are rated for up to 100 million keystrokes.
Other features include transparent switch housings for RGB lighting and durable five-sided dye-sublimated PBT keycaps.
The keyboard also uses a top-mounted suspended structure, which is combined with four layers of sound-dampening materials to help reduce unwanted vibrations and improve overall typing acoustics.
Software and Customization
Another unique feature of this keyboard is that users can customize through COLORFUL’s browser-based driver platform, eliminating the need for dedicated software installation.
The platform allows adjustments to actuation points, Rapid Trigger settings, macros, RGB lighting, and firmware updates. The keyboard also supports 22 built-in lighting effects and up to 16.8 million RGB color combinations, along with motherboard RGB synchronization support.
The Chitu MAG-60 adopts a compact 60% layout as well, helping save desk space while maintaining the essential keys commonly used for gaming and productivity.

Pricing and Availability
The limited-edition COLORFUL Chitu MAG-60 Magnetic Switch Keyboard is scheduled to launch on June 30 with a suggested retail price of RMB 2,399, around PHP 22,000.
