Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) has partnered with Blacknut to bring console-quality cloud gaming to Smart and TNT subscribers in the Philippines.
With Blacknut Cloud Gaming, users can stream games instantly through a mobile web browser without needing a gaming console or PC. Similar to streaming movies or TV shows, games are rendered on cloud servers, eliminating the need to download apps or install large game files.
Subscribers can access the service by visiting blacknut.com/p/smart, where they can sign up using their Smart or TNT mobile number. A weekly subscription starts at PHP 145, which is charged directly to their prepaid load after OTP verification.
The platform offers more than 1,000 games, including AAA titles, indie favorites, and family-friendly games. Available titles include NBA 2K, For Honor, Asphalt, Overcooked!, and a wide selection of LEGO games.

“Our strategic partnership with Blacknut affirms Smart’s commitment to empowering more Filipinos with access to cutting-edge digital experiences and immersive online entertainment that cloud gaming brings,” said Marjorie C. Garrovillo, FVP and Co-Officer-in-Charge at Smart.
Lloyd R. Manaloto, FVP and Co-Officer-in-Charge at Smart, said cloud gaming removes the biggest barriers to console-quality gaming, such as expensive hardware, long downloads, and limited storage, making premium gaming more accessible through Smart’s network.
Blacknut CEO Olivier Avaro said the partnership will help make premium, console-level gaming more accessible to Filipino players, allowing them to enjoy games anytime and anywhere.
Since cloud gaming relies on a fast and responsive connection, Smart highlighted its network performance. According to Ookla’s Speedtest Connectivity Report for Q1–Q2 2025, Smart recorded the Best Mobile Latency Performance in the Philippines with a median latency of 45.88 ms.
Ookla also recognized Smart for providing the Best Mobile Video Experience based on Q3–Q4 2025 Speedtest Intelligence data, where it earned a Video Score of 78.60.
With this partnership, Smart aims to expand its digital entertainment offerings, giving subscribers new ways to enjoy gaming, entertainment, and other digital experiences on its network.
