Another budget smartphone entered the market because realme has secretly released its new realme C11 (2021) in the Philippines. It looks like the new trend for smartphone brands is to produce a phone with the same product name but different specifications. To recap, realme released a Snapdragon-powered C15 recently, the same case in vivo Y52s (T1 edition) Snapdragon version.
Last July 2020, realme revealed their new C series including the realme C11 2020. Many Filipinos (including me) bought this phone because it has decent performance under the 5K Pesos range. And personally, it is great for casual usage especially for browsing on Facebook or watching our YouTube videos.
But this week, realme released its 2021 version of C11 in Shopee without introducing it to their social media. As of writing, realme C11 2021 is listed on e-commerce websites in Russia and the Philippines. Besides, this new version of C11 has the same price as the last year’s version.
For its specification, it now features a UNISOC SC9863 octa-core processor with PowerVR GE8322 and has 2GB of RAM. It also has 32GB of expandable storage via a microSDcard slot up to 256GB and 5,000mAh battery that supports 10W charging.
Moreover, the previous variant has a 13MP main shooter plus a 2MP depth sensor, but the current variant only has an 8MP rear camera. Besides, both new and current version of realme C11 has 5MP selfie camera.
However, it now runs in realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11, while the previous version only runs in realme UI 1.0 based on Android 10.
Other features of this phone are 4G LTE connectivity, Bluetooth 5.0, Face unlock, OTG, dual SIM, and FM Radio.
Lastly, the available colors of this phone are Blue and Grey.
