Google announces its upcoming flagship phone lineup, Pixel 6 phones that will feature the very first Google Tensor processor. With this very high-end lineup, it will surely have great competition with the top-tier companies, Apple and Samsung.
If you don’t know, Google, like the majority of Android phone manufacturers, has long depended on Qualcomm’s SoCs to power its smartphones. But now, they confidently announce its own-designed system-on-chip Google Tenor. With this SoC, the company is enabled to maximize the customization of its new Pixel lineup.
Moreover, Google mentioned that only Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro will feature this powerful processor. Indeed, they claimed that this processor makes the two Pixel 6 phones the fastest, smartest, and most secure smartphones yet.
The Pixel 6 Pro will sport a 6.7-inch Curved QHD+ display that supports a screen refresh rate of 120Hz. While the Pixel 6 will come with a 6.4-inch QHD+ display that just only supports a 90Hz refresh rate. Besides, both of their screens have an In-Display fingerprint scanner.
For the camera, Pixel 6 Pro will boast a triple-camera setup composed of primary, ultra-wide, and 4x-telephone lenses. Meanwhile, the Pixel 6 will come with a dual-camera setup that is only composed of primary and ultra-wide lenses. Their cameras are on a huge “camera bar” that covers the full width of the phones.
Furthermore, these Pixel 6 phones will run Android 12, equipped with the latest 5G connectivity, and provides Google’s most powerful AI. We will also notice a changing experience for the camera, speech recognition, and many more Pixel 6 features.
