GoPro has released its new HERO10 Black that features faster frame rates, as well as better stabilization and image quality.

The new GoPro HERO10 Black has a similar design and hardware as the previous HERO9. It means you can still use all of the HERO9 accessories or mods to this latest HERO10 if you already have one. Although some compatible accessories like Max Lens Mod will have support until future updates.
HERO10 now features the new GP2 processor that makes the action camera perform amazingly. This is an upgrade to the 4-year-old GP1 processor which is HERO6 up to HERO9 features. With the help of the GP2, this device can now shoot much higher frame rates that are best for slow-motion clips.
In terms of video quality, this action camera can now shoot up to 5.3K 60fps, 4K 120fps, and 2.7K 240fps. Yes, you read it right, it has doubled the frame rates having the same resolution compared to the HERO9. Besides, its display also improved because it also has a faster screen refresh rate. While the rear display also got improved touch sensitivity to make it more responsive.
It also now HyperSmooth 4.0 stabilization feature that can provide a very steady video. The improved Horizon Leveling feature now has a new upper maximum of 45 degrees, up from 27 degrees in the older version. Just take note that this improved horizon leveling feature is not available in HERO10’s highest resolutions and frame rates. It is only limited to 4K resolution at 60fps and 2.7K or 1080p at 120fps.
According to the company, you can also use this HyperSmooth feature while you are streaming live. However, in order to achieve the highest video quality in your stream, you will need a GoPro subscription.
GoPro also claims that it has enhanced low-light performance and very low noise levels. You can also capture 23MP photos and up to 19.6MP frame grabs on this device.
Surprisingly, it is also able to automatically upload your videos to your GoPro Cloud while charging. Transferring footage wirelessly has now improved up to 30% faster in the Quik app.
Furthermore, it also has voice control, folding mounting feet, and water resistance of up to 10m. Other features of this device are HindSight, TimeWarp 3.0, Live Burst, and Schedule Capture.
