Aside from the new HONOR Pad V7, HONOR also launched three new laptops, the MagicBook 16, 16 Pro, and V 14.
HONOR MagicBook V 14
First is the high-end MagicBook V 14, it is HONOR’s first laptop that features Intel’s Evo 11 platform. According to Windows Central, this laptop is also one of the first laptops that will come with Windows 11. For its processor, the vanilla variant will run on Intel Core i5-1132H, while the higher end will run on Core i7-11390H. Besides, this laptop has an NVIDIA GeForce MX450 Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) and Intel Iris Xe graphics for the base variant.
There is also up to 16GB LPDDR4x RAM for better multi-tasking and 512GB PCIe SSD for faster storage. It also highlights a 60Wh cell battery capacity that can last up to 15 hours of continuous usage.
In addition, it also has a 14.2 inches touch display that has a 2520 x 1680-pixel resolution and supports 90Hz. Its screen also supports 1.07-billion colors, three eye protection certifications such as TÜV Rheinland low blue light certification. Apart from that, it also covers 100% sRGB color gamut and has a max brightness of up to 400nits. And on the top of its screen is a 5MP camera that has an ISP chip for better video quality.
This high-end laptop comes in Star Gray and Glacial Silver colorways.
HONOR MagicBook 16 and 16 Pro
Furthermore, for the MagicBook 16 and 16 Pro, these laptop features AMD Ryzen 5000 series processors. They partnered it with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 GPU, 16GB DDR4 RAM, and 512GB PCIe SSD. These laptops both come with 16.1 inches displays that support a 144Hz refresh rate and 300nits of brightness. Its brightness seems a little disappointing given that it has great specifications and a large 16.1-inch display.
However, this series only runs Windows 10 Home Edition out of the box, but it will surely support Windows 11. It has a smaller 56Wh cell battery bundled with a 65W USB Type-C charger.
Price and availability
The new laptops are now available in China via the official HONOR website. The MagicBook V 14 price starts at CNY 6,199 (around PHP 48.8k). While MagicBook 16 starts at CNY 5,199 (around PHP 41k) and the Pro costs CNY 6,199 (around PHP 48.8K). Hopefully, these laptops will go internationally.
