It’s over to the famous Adobe Flash because the support in this multimedia software got ended this last December 31, 2020. Also, the company starts blocking Flash content on January 12, 2021. While major browsers started shutting it down this first week of January.
We can use Flash for making animations, mobile games, embedded web browser video players, as well as desktop, mobile, and rich web applications. They used this technology for two decades that became very popular in web history. Adobe asked developers to move on to HTML5 in 2015, then in 2017, they announced that they would end support.
However, Adobe released the Adobe Animate last December 2020, you can use this in designing vector graphics. Also, in animation for online video, websites, tv programs, web and rich internet applications, game development, and other interactive projects. In other words, Adobe Animate is the replacement of the Flash, it has better technology that we can use.
I remember those times in senior high that we make animation films using Flash. It brought us pressure and struggle in creating an animation but we enjoyed using it. It’s an honor to experience the features of Adobe Flash.
Comment on your experience in using the Flash technology.
