AMD introduces its new Ryzen 6000 mobile platform, Ryzen 7000
desktop platform, Ryzen 5800X3D CPU, and Radeon 6500 XT graphics card.
AMD Presents new High-Performance Computing Technologies at CES 2022!
One of the innovations AMD announced is the newest Ryzen 6000 Series mobile processors. It integrates the new “Zen3+” core architecture, which is incredibly efficient and extremely powerful. To recall, they used Zen3 architecture on the 5000 series. When comparing the 6800U to the 5800U, the new CPU is approximately 28% quicker in terms of performance.
The Ryzen 6000 series now also uses RDNA2 integrated graphics which doubles the 3D rendering and gaming performance. It also has hardware-accelerated ray-tracing, 2x bigger L2 caches, a 50% larger GPU compute engine, and compatibility for DirectX 12 Ultimate. Besides, the 6000 series will be the first to integrate the Microsoft Pluton security processor that gives better protection to our data.
AMD also introduced its latest discrete graphics for laptop
computers. There is now a new Radeon 6000S line of GPUs available, which are
particularly built for small and light gaming laptops. Meanwhile, there is also
a new powerful RX 6000M which is for next-gen premium laptops.
For desktop, they also announces its first gaming CPU with 3D stacking tech, the Ryzen 7 5800X3D. It features the AMD 3D V-Cache technology help it provides the world’s fastest gaming experience. In gaming, AMD says it outperforms both the Ryzen 9 5900X and the Intel Core i9-12900K.
AMD also unveiled the Ryzen 7000 Series desktop processors that integrate the next-generation “Zen4” architecture. They built these new processors on a 5nm node and a new Socket AM5. It also features an LGA socket and includes support for PCI-Express® 5.0 and DDR5 memory.
Lastly, they also launch the new affordable RX 6500 XT and RX 6400 for budget desktop games. These desktop graphics cards can give you an incredible 1080p gaming experience. According to AMD, the new RX 6500 XT will only cost USD 199 (around PHP 10.1K) and will be available in January 19, 2022.
