Apple has announced the latest 14‑ and 16‑inch MacBook Pro, powered by the all-new M5 Pro and M5 Max chips.
These chips bring groundbreaking performance and AI capabilities, featuring the world’s fastest CPU cores, next-generation GPUs with Neural Accelerators, and higher memory bandwidth.
They deliver up to 4 times faster AI performance than the previous generation and up to 8 times faster than M1 models.
The new MacBook Pro is built for developers, creatives, and professionals running demanding workflows. M5 Pro supports up to 64GB of unified memory, while M5 Max supports up to 128GB.
Both offer faster SSD storage, with up to twice the read and write speeds and starting storage of 1TB for M5 Pro and 2TB for M5 Max.

M5 Pro is ideal for coders, photographers, and power users. M5 Max is designed for video editors, engineers, and 3D designers. AI tasks, LLM prompt processing, 3D rendering, and video effects are significantly faster than previous models.
The MacBook Pro is also designed with sustainability in mind. It uses 45 percent recycled materials, 100 percent recycled aluminum, and 50 percent renewable electricity in manufacturing.
