Learn from some of the finest in the industry! Canon Marketing Philippines welcomes photography novices, amateurs, and experts to attend Canon Imaging Academy classes and activations.
The Canon Imaging Academy, one of the first of its type, is an organized learning program designed to help and upskill local photographers of all skill levels. The workshops cover a wide range of topics, from photography and videography to printing, and include special training sessions with industry professionals and Canon ambassadors known as Canon Crusaders of Light and Canon Professional Shooters.
Earlier this year, Canon Marketing Philippines organized a Penagbenga Festival Photowalk and Photo Contest with Jijo de Guzman, a filmmaking class with director Zig Dulay, and a Geek + Pop Cosplay Photography class with Jay Tablante.
“These workshops by Canon Philippines are designed to foster growth and creativity, offering both new and existing photographers the opportunity to learn from a roster of highly professional speakers. Each speaker is a proven expert in their field, bringing a wealth of experience and theoretical knowledge to the table,” shared Edwin Martinez, Canon Crusader of Light.
The workshops also provide a chance for Filipino photographers and videographers to meet other creatives and test Canon’s extensive line of EOS R full-frame cameras and RF lenses, which are known for their intelligent technology and versatility to a variety of shooting scenarios.

July is up for a good start with Canon collaborating with Henry’s Cameras for a workshop at Canon Image Square, Greenhills Mall and a VlogCon with Camerahaus at SM Aura Premier, Taguig City.
