Recently, we have been experiencing a lot of rain, flooding, and power outages here in the Philippines. We all know how difficult it can be when there is no electricity. Some people struggle with the heat because they cannot use their electric fans, some run out of battery on their phones, while others are left without lights at home.
That is why it is good to invest in a decent power station like the BLUETTI Elite 30 V2, which was sent to us by BLUETTI Philippines for review.
It is also perfect timing that they sent this to us because we have been experiencing strong rain and winds lately, and we are also worried about losing power at home.
The BLUETTI Elite 30 V2 is not only useful as a backup power source, but you can also use it for adventures or camping. You can also pair it with a solar panel kit from BLUETTI, like the 60W solar generator kit that was also sent to us and bundled with the Elite 30 V2.
We have been using and testing this power station for several weeks now, so here are our thoughts and experience with the BLUETTI Elite 30 V2.
Design and Build Quality
The BLUETTI Elite 30 V2’s design looks similar to other BLUETTI power stations. It only weighs 4.3kg, so it is portable and easy to carry around. It has a plastic body, but you can still feel that it is sturdy and well-built.
The handle is placed at the top-back of the power station, and it is also quite thick, so you won’t have to worry about it breaking while carrying the unit.
I also like the layout of the ports and buttons because they are properly spaced and do not get in the way even when most of the ports are being used.
There is also a built-in fan that produces around 30dB of noise, so it remains relatively quiet during operation. It is also helpful in keeping the power station from getting too hot, even when I have several devices plugged into it.
You can also choose between Grey, Blue, Green, Purple, and Light Grey colorways depending on your preference.
Ports and Connectivity
The BLUETTI Elite 30 V2 also has plenty of ports. For output, it has two USB-C ports with up to 140W and 100W of maximum output, respectively. There are also two USB-A ports with 15W output, one 12V/10A car outlet, and two 12V/5A DC5521 ports.
Meanwhile, for input, it has two AC inputs, with one supporting up to 980W of charging and bypass power. It also has a DC input for solar charging, which supports up to 200W of maximum input.
The available ports are practical, especially the USB-C ports. You can plug in your laptop, phone, and other devices without any problem.
Battery Capacity & Performance
The BLUETTI Elite 30 V2 has a 288Wh battery capacity, which is already decent if you are looking for a power station with a compact and portable size.
With that battery capacity, I can consider it a good backup power source, especially if you will be using it for low-powered appliances like lights, an electric fan, or for charging your phone or laptop.
It is also a good option for camping or any adventure where you need a reliable power source, especially since you can pair it with a solar panel.
The power output of the BLUETTI Elite 30 V2 is rated at 600W, though it also supports up to 1,500W through Power Lifting Mode. I would suggest staying within the 600W output for regular use to avoid putting unnecessary stress on the power station.
If you plan to use high-wattage appliances, I recommend getting one of BLUETTI’s heavy-duty power stations instead, although they are considerably more expensive.
When it comes to charging, it takes around two hours in Silent Mode when using AC input, while it takes an hour in Turbo Mode. That is already quite fast considering that the battery capacity is not that large.
I also attempted to charge it using the 60W solar panel kit, but I was not able to properly test its charging performance since it was quite cloudy that day. It has also been raining a lot these past few days and weeks, so I was not able to fully test the solar kit.
Based on my estimation, it should be able to fully charge in around 6–8 hours if you can consistently get around 45–60W of solar input. That is not bad, but if you want faster solar charging, BLUETTI also has a 200W solar panel kit bundle available.
Software
The BLUETTI Elite 30 V2 can also be monitored and managed using the BLUETTI app. It gives you a convenient way to check what the power station is doing without having to constantly look at the display.
From the app, you can see the remaining battery, power coming in and going out, and charging information. You can also control various functions remotely, including the AC and DC outputs, as well as adjust charging and power settings. Firmware updates can also be done through the app.
What I like about it is that the interface does not feel overwhelming. The important information is easy to find, and the controls are fairly straightforward, so even first-time portable power station users should be able to get around it without much trouble.

Verdict
With a starting price of PHP 13,999, I can consider the BLUETTI Elite 30 V2 a great investment, especially for those who love camping or simply want a portable power station at home. Its 288Wh battery capacity is already decent as a backup power source, and it has plenty of ports, so you should not have a problem connecting your devices.
However, it is mainly intended for low-powered appliances since it only supports up to 600W of standard output. If you need to power more demanding appliances, you may want to consider BLUETTI’s larger models instead.
