DITO Telecommunity just pulled off another big win in the telco race. From January to June 2025, Ookla’s Speedtest Intelligence once again ranked it as the number one mobile network in the country.
The report gave DITO an overall score of 3.5. Smart followed with 3.3 while Globe came in at 3.2. This marks the fourth straight time DITO has taken the top spot since it started competing in these rankings.
The “Kaya DITO Promise”
For a network that only went commercial in 2021, that’s a pretty solid run. The company says it owes the streak to its “Kaya DITO Promise,” which basically boils down to keeping service reliable, pushing new tech like 5G standalone, staying consistent, and making sure more communities get access to decent coverage.
CEO Eric Alberto called the four-peat a badge of honor and said it shows how committed the company is to its users. He added that while other providers set barriers, DITO wants to give people more freedom and better telco experiences.
The milestone also comes as DITO celebrates its fifth year in the market. Observers say the streak proves the telco has become a serious competitor and is helping shake up the local mobile landscape.
