The unidirectional or cardioid pattern picked up my voice well from about 6 inches away and rejected most of the sounds from behind and around the microphone.Â
The volume control was smooth and precise, allowing me to adjust the level of my voice without any clipping or distortion. Actually, the people I play with in Valorant are amazed by its audio quality and surprised that it is only so affordable.Â
Since I only use its included tripod, the mic distance from my mouth is about 10 inches away so I need to bend down a little when I am talking when playing games.
