Pixel 6a comes with powerful specs but lower price
The new Google Pixel 6a packs with the same powerful own-designed Google Tensor octa-core chipset. It means you will experience features that the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro boast but with budget pricing. For its memory, it comes with 6GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1 internal storage. Besides, it also has the Titan M2 security coprocessor.Â
This device also comes with the same design elements as its bigger brothers like the iconic camera bar. At the front, it has a smaller 20:9 aspect ratio 6.1-inch FHD+ OLED display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It supports HDR, always-on display, high brightness mode, under-display fingerprint, and full 24-bit depth for 16 million colors. In addition, it does not come with a higher screen refresh rate like the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro.
For its camera, it has a 12.2MP dual-pixel wide main shooter and a 12MP ultra-wide camera with lens correction. While for selfies, it only comes with an 8MP front camera that has a fixed focus. Its camera features a magic eraser, real tone, face unblur, cinematic pan, live HDR+, motion autofocus, image stabilization, and many more.
As for its juice, it comes with a 4,410mAh battery capacity that supports up to 18W fast wired charging. Google claimed that it can provide you with over 24-hour battery life and up to 72-hour when an extreme battery saver is on.
Other features include 5G connectivity, stereo speakers, twin microphones, IP67 dust and water resistance, and HDR compatibility. The phone also runs Android 12 out of the box and comes with up to five years of security upgrades.
