Archicad AI Visualizer is a new product from Graphisoft, a top provider of building information modeling (BIM) software for architecture and broad design. Thanks to an easy-to-use interface built for interior and architectural design, Archicad AI Visualizer, supported by Stable Diffusion, a top-notch AI-driven picture generating tool, produces detailed 3D illustrations during the early phases of design.
Because of the powerful AI engine that produces high-quality pictures, Archicad users will now be able to generate many design representations without having to model them in 3D, which helps speed up the early design process.
Graphisoft’s Adaptive Hybrid Framework technology, which launched last year, makes it possible to integrate advanced technologies like artificial intelligence (AI) into the company’s products and offer new features quickly and well.
“Our Adaptive Hybrid Framework approach lets us quickly and effectively integrate innovative technologies like the AI Visualizer into our tech stack. This is just the first example of how we can integrate it into new capabilities inside our software,”
Zsolt Kerecsen, Vice President of Software Success at Graphisoft
“With many new projects underway, Graphisoft customers can expect to leverage additional AI-enabled solutions to do what they do best – design great buildings.”
The Graphisoft company mainly uses the arising AI technologies in different business sectors to enhance workflows and produce successful in software development, assistance, localization, as well as in marketing communications.
For example, Graphisoft offers resources in several languages for educational films through using AI technologies, making things more widely available.
“By integrating AI into our software production processes – including localizations — we can better serve our customers and deliver our software faster and in higher quality,”
Zsolt Kerecsen
All architects and interior designers who want to learn more about the possibilities of AI-powered architectural visualization in the future and share their thoughts on the experience can use the Archicad AI Visualizer.
“The buzz around AI breakthroughs has shaken up the tech industry as a whole, with the promise of enabling increased creativity,”
Márton Kiss, Vice President of Product Success at Graphisoft
“We want this tool to be tested in the real world by real users where they need it most — early in the design process when exploring designs and communicating with clients."
In the upcoming months, the AI Visualizer will finally be available to the Nemetschek Group brands Vectorworks and Allplan.
Since Archicad already includes Archicad AI Visualizer, there is no need to buy it separately.
Using Archicad, customers can generate a basic concept model and create an infinite number of detailed design alternatives without building full models. These are done by using text commands or a few descriptive words, such as “a modern office with wood surfaces.” By enhancing the initial concept with information, ideas, and context, the tool generates design alternatives throughout the early design stage.
Prompts and outcomes will be customized for architectural and interior design processes, and the interface is simple to use. The local storing of source pictures on users’ PCs ensures complete protection of intellectual property rights.
In addition to many other options, users may adjust the prompt intensity for more accurate results, change the number of repetitions to speed up image formation, and define image sizes.
For those interested on getting started with this powerful tool, Archicad AI Visualizer, users will only need a valid license for Archicad 27 and a license for either NVIDIDA GPUs or Apple Silicon chips.
This program is now accessible in English only; however, the package will be adjusted for the international version and will function with the other language versions as well.
