HONOR comes back to the Philippines!
To recall, HONOR is a sub-brand of Huawei and is now an independent brand. Because US sanctions on the Chinese technology giant had cut off supplies to essential components and damaged its smartphone business, which included HONOR at the time, Huawei did this to secure HONOR’s survival. for them to get access to key components like semiconductors again. This allowed brand to regain access to essential components such as semiconductors.
Yesterday, Daniel Wang, Director of Channel Management Department of HONOR Device Com., Ltd., and Ricky Sy, President of HONOR Philippines/Iridium Technologies Inc., signed the contract at a contract-signing ceremony, signifying the technology brand’s re-entry into the Philippines.
The agreement will make their products available in the country through Iridium Technologies, the company’s local distributor.
“As HONOR returns to the Philippines, we are confident that the brand will be well received by Filipino consumers. The brand’s re-entrance would also mean that HONOR products will soon become more accessible to Filipinos.” said Ricky Sy, President of HONOR Philippines.
“Philippines is key market in Asia that we are committed to serving. We are positive to continue to gain consumer’s trust and popularity by providing the best products.” added Sy.
The brand is currently available in over 100 regions worldwide. As it spreads across the country, the brand’s portfolio is being updated to meet the needs of various markets, including high-end users and ordinary users, in a variety of price ranges ranging from budget devices to premium flagship smartphones.

Importantly, Google Mobile Services will be available on their devices which fans waited for a long.
