Huawei has launched its new Huawei P50 Pocket clamshell-type foldable gapless smartphone.
Huawei P50 Pocket is now official!
This new Huawei P50 Pocket features a 6.9-inch OLED screen with a large 21:9 aspect ratio and 2790×1188-pixel resolution. It supports a very smooth 120Hz screen refresh rate, 1440 high-frequency PWM dimming, and 300Hz touch sampling rate.Â
The little 1-inch cover screen is capable of more than simply displaying the time, date, and notifications. It offers its feature widgets for both first-party and third-party programs such as maps, music players, and QR codes.
Unfortunately, it does have 5G connectivity since it only features the 4G version of the 5nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 flagship chipset. It also has two configurations: 8GB + 256GB for standard version, and 12GB + 512GB for premium edition. Huawei packed it with a 4,000mAh battery that supports 40W wired charging. Besides, it runs on HarmonyOS 2.0 Operating System out of the box.
Moreover, it boasts a 40MP True-Chroma main camera along with 13MP Ultra-wide lens and 32MP Spectrum camera. Meanwhile, it only has a 10.7MP wide-angle selfie camera.
Huawei Watch D with ECG and blood pressure monitoring
In addition, they also announced the new Huawei Watch D smartwatch along with the P50 Pocket. This new smartwatch features a 1.64-inch AMOLED touchscreen with 456×280-pixel resolution and 326ppi pixel density. The company encases its screen with an aluminum alloy case that has Black and Titanium colorways. For its strap, it comes in fluoro-rubber material and comes in medium and large sizes.Â
It has typical health and fitness functions including a step counter, heart rate monitor, sleep monitoring, and blood oxygen level meter. However, the main features you will love are ECG and blood pressure monitoring. It uses the Huawei TruBP, which utilizes micro air pumps and airbags to monitor blood pressure on the wrist.
The Huawei Watch D also has TruSeen 5.0+ technology for ECG. This employs eight circular photoelectric sensors and a pair of light sources with a curved glass sapphire lens. It also uses PVD-coated ECG electrodes to filter out interference and provide accurate findings.
Furthermore, it can also detect Atherosclerosis, Arrhythmia, and Sleep Apnea risks. Huawei enables smartwatch users to immediately obtain online advice from professionals to assist them in understanding their health data.
