A day after Sony revealed the PlayStation 5 in June, KFC posted a video on social media flaunting its new KFConsole. It is a gaming console that is equipped with a chicken chamber. We thought that it is just a joke but shows that they are really serious about it.
Yesterday, the thought joke became real because KFC introduced the KFConsole. They teamed up with Cooler Master and Intel to launch this gaming console. It features Intel Nuc 9 with 9th Gen Intel Core i9, Asus powered graphics (hot-swappable GPU slot), and two Seagate BarraCuda 1TB SSD. According to them, it is capable of 4K and 240FPS. Also, it is VR ready and supports Ray Tracing that makes the console more interesting.
“Moving forward from our initial teaser campaign earlier this year, we’re so pleased to finally give the fans exactly what they wanted; making the KFConsole a reality,” said KFC PR boss Mark Cheevers. “We all know the console war is vicious, but we’re very confident in the KFConsole as our flagship entry. This machine is capable of running games at top-level specs, all on top of keeping your meal warm for you to enjoy during your gaming experience… what’s not to like? If Sony or Microsoft want any tips on how to engineer a chicken chamber for their efforts next time, they’d be welcome to get in touch.”
Price and availability
