Marshall is marking Lunar New Year 2026 with special-edition releases inspired by the Year of the Horse.
Marshall Emberton III Lunar New Year 2026 Year of the Horse Edition
For the fourth year in a row, the brand partnered with a Chinese artist to reinterpret its classic hardware for the holiday. This year’s collaborator is FCCK, a Chengdu-based designer, illustrator, and multidisciplinary artist known for pushing into new visual territory.
The artwork for this edition takes cues from the Chinese phrase “脱缰野马,” describing a wild horse that has broken free from its reins.

FCCK translated this idea of unrestrained motion and creative freedom through mixed textures and mediums such as clay, wood carving, embroidery, paper cutting, graffiti, abstraction, and pop art.
The result is a set of bold horse motifs meant to symbolize unbridled energy, a theme Marshall associates with its own rock ‘n’ roll attitude and “do it your own way” ethos.
Two products are getting the treatment. The Emberton III portable Bluetooth speaker is the standout thanks to a new manufacturing detail, a water transfer or “hydra” print applied to its matte silicone sleeve.
Since the design floats freely during application, the pattern shifts and stretches in subtle ways, making each unit slightly unique. The Studio 900 Combo amplifier keeps its compact 90s-inspired Marshall sound signature, now wrapped in FCCK’s Year of the Horse visuals for the season.
