Motorcycle taxi platform MOVE IT has introduced a new brand promise, “Keep Moving,” reinforcing its focus on reliable bookings, safer rides, and professional moto-taxi standards for both commuters and rider-partners dealing with daily traffic in the metro.
MOVE IT improves ride reliability and safety with “Keep Moving”
The message centers on a problem many Filipinos experience every day: time lost in traffic. Citing TomTom’s 2025 traffic data for Manila, drivers and commuters can lose around 143 hours a year during rush hour. That is equivalent to more than five full days spent on the road.
“Traffic steals time we never get back. This is time that should have gone to work, family, rest, and building a better life,” said Wayne Jacinto, General Manager of MOVE IT. “Our Keep Moving promise reflects a deeper commitment to commuters. It’s not just about getting you from point A to point B, but about giving you reassurance that when you need to be somewhere, you’re no longer bracing for a standstill. Keep Moving is the confidence that you’ll get there.”
According to MOVE IT, the “Keep Moving” promise is backed by a mix of technology tools and rider standards aimed at improving reliability, safety, and service quality.
Keep Moving Reliably
On the reliability side, MOVE IT is highlighting features designed to reduce waiting time and improve rider-partner productivity.
The platform runs on GrabMaps and Navigation, which helps provide more accurate ETAs, smarter pickup and drop-off points, and routes that adjust to real-time traffic conditions. It also uses Back-to-Back Bookings, a feature that assigns a rider’s next trip before the current one ends, reducing idle time between rides.
Jacinto noted that when rider-partners operate more efficiently, demand can be served more consistently. More productive riders mean more commuters can get to their destinations without long delays.
Keep Moving Safely
Safety is another key pillar of the campaign. MOVE IT is leaning on in-app tools designed to prevent, detect, and investigate incidents.
The app includes a Safety Center where users can add emergency contacts, share trip details, request help, or report issues. There is also a Share Your Ride feature that allows trusted contacts to track a trip in real time, including GPS location.
Among its platform-exclusive tools is Trip Monitoring, which uses GPS and telematics to detect risk signals such as unplanned stops, route deviations, crashes, unusual trip terminations, or extended delays. These alerts can trigger proactive checks and, if needed, manual intervention from safety teams.
Another exclusive feature is AudioProtect, an opt-in in-ride audio recording tool. Recordings are encrypted and can only be accessed when a safety-related report is filed, helping with investigations and dispute resolution.
MOVE IT also uses mutual ratings and reporting systems through the “Report an Issue” function and the “Activity Tab.” Feedback gathered through these channels can lead to retraining, restrictions, or suspensions when necessary.
Keep Moving with Professional Riders
Beyond technology, MOVE IT says it continues to enforce strict professional standards for its rider-partners. These include screening, training, and continuous reinforcement of road discipline, service quality, and passenger courtesy.
“Sinisigurado ko po na ang aming komunidad ay lubos na nakatuon sa paghahatid ng propesyonal na serbisyo, na ginagabayan ng aming pamantayan sa MOVE IT. Tatlong bagay lang po: Maingat, Marespeto sa Pasahero, Malinis,” said MOVE IT rider community leader Racma Macato-on Talib.
She added that MOVE IT’s standards focus on strong driving skills, defensive driving practices, and the qualities that make up five-star service, including good manners, respect, and professionalism.
With “Keep Moving,” MOVE IT positions itself not just as a transport option, but as a platform built around helping commuters navigate metro traffic with more confidence, backed by technology and professional rider-partners.
