Apple has announced the new MacBook Air with M5, bringing faster performance, advanced AI capabilities, and more storage to the world’s most popular laptop.
The M5 chip features a 10-core CPU, up-to-10-core GPU, and a Neural Accelerator in each core, delivering up to 4x faster AI performance than the previous M4 model.

It also powers through creative workflows, 3D rendering, and gaming with enhanced shader cores and a third-generation ray-tracing engine.
The MacBook Air now comes standard with 512GB storage, upgradable to 4TB, with faster SSD read/write speeds for smoother multitasking. With the Apple-designed N1 wireless chip, it supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6 for reliable connectivity.
The laptop keeps its thin, light, and durable aluminum design, available in 13- and 15-inch models and colors including sky blue, midnight, starlight, and silver.

Other features include a Liquid Retina display, 12MP Center Stage camera, Spatial Audio sound system, and up to 18 hours of battery life. Two Thunderbolt 4 ports and MagSafe ensure flexible connectivity for students and professionals.
Running macOS Tahoe, users can enjoy built-in apps, Continuity features with iPhone, Apple Intelligence tools, and new personalization options like folder and widget colors.
Apple also emphasizes sustainability: the MacBook Air uses 55% recycled content, 100% recycled aluminum for the enclosure, and 50% renewable electricity in manufacturing.
MacBook Air M5 Price and Availability
The 13-inch MacBook Air starts at PHP 72,990 (PHP 65,990 for students), while the 15-inch model starts at PHP 85,990 (PHP 78,990 for students). Both are available through Apple.com/ph/store and Apple Authorized Resellers.
