Nokia just unveiled its brand-new user interface design language created for all kinds of its products called Nokia Pure.

To recall, Nokia reveal a new logo in February at MWC 2023 that shows a new approach and strategy for branding and promoting its goods and services.
Nokia claims that the new design system was created to create digital products that would be future-proof, using a variety of aspects and guidelines that are focused on providing consumers with a new, simple, and “fresh” appearance, in keeping with the logo reveal from a month ago.
The Nokia Pure font, which will be used throughout the UI, is a significant part of the refreshed appearance.
Moreover, Nokia devices typically stick with the “stock” appearance of Android, but Pure now has new icons.
They are built on strokes, and the thickness of those strokes may be changed to fit the display needs and capabilities of a specific device. They also incorporate seamless animations when a certain component wants to attract the user’s attention.
This design language is carried through to onboard illustrations, infographics, and panels that display visualized data feeds and infographics.
According to Nokia, the overall focus on simplicity incorporates abstract geometric forms, all while allowing for versatility for ease of use and comprehension on the end user’s side.
Given that other UIs, such as One UI and Color OS, which have undergone significant modifications in recent years, have also made similar improvements, this new Nokia software is undoubtedly a good shift for the company.
Although there is no information on when or where we may see this new UI in use, it appears that it will be restricted to upcoming software products and apps, at least for the time being.
