PLDT Home WiFi 5G+ is now available!
Although 5G connectivity has been available in the Philippines for a few years now, many users have been unable to fully enjoy it due to the high cost of 5G-ready devices, expensive promos, and limited coverage in select areas. This new modem aims to make 5G more accessible to everyone.Â
The new PLDT Home WiFi 5G+ modem is touted to deliver speeds up to 10 times faster than standard LTE Home WiFi devices, enabling you to stream HD videos without buffering, download and upload files in seconds, and enjoy low-latency cloud gaming.Â
Equipped with WiFi 6 connectivity, the modem promises more stable coverage and faster data transfer. According to PLDT, it can support up to 15 devices via WiFi, and it also includes a LAN port for wired connections. However, keep in mind that the modem is SIM-locked to Smart, although TNT SIM cards are also compatible.Â
