Last year, the company released the C3, its most affordable smartphone, and sold 2.5 million units in India. Now, POCO just launched another affordable smartphone, the POCO C31.
POCO C31 highlights
POCO C31 features an entry-level gaming processor, the 12nm MediaTek Helio G35 octa-core chipset. It comes with up to 4GB DDR4X RAM and up to 64GB eMMC 5.1 internal storage. It also includes a dedicated microSD card slot for up to 512GB of storage expansion.
This device also has a 6.53-inch HD+ screen that has a 20:9 aspect ratio for better ergonomic one-hand use. On the top of its screen is a notch that carries a 5MP selfie camera. You can also easily read contents with this device since it has TÜV Rheinland Reading Mode Certification.
At the back of this device, you will see a polycarbonate body with a dual pattern design. There is also a triple camera setup that includes a 13MP main shooter, 2MP macro lens, and 2MP depth sensor. Under its camera module is the POCO branding, then a traditional fingerprint scanner at the center.
While for the battery, it has a 5,000mAh battery capacity that can last up to 2 days. This device is very power efficient since it has dynamic power management, background app optimization, smart task allocation, and more. With that, you can use this perfectly in your gaming, media consumption, online class, and photography. Also, it has a longer battery lifespan that can last more than 2.5 years
Moreover, the C31 runs a custom POCO launcher based on Android 10 that gives POCO Clean Experience. It also boasts tons of customization options, dark mode, icon personalization, and minimal UI since it has no ads.
In addition, the available colors of this phone are Shadow Grey and Royal Blue body. To protect the SIM tray and ports from moisture, dust, and water splashes, the C31 has rubberized seals and P2i nano-coating.
Price and availability
The POCO C31 will be available on sale in India starting October 2, 2021, via Flipkart. Besides, it has two variants, the 3GB/32GB that has a price of INR 8,499, and 4GB/64GB at INR 9,499.
