POCO surprised us with their new devices released including the POCO F6 and POCO F6 Pro. These new smartphones offer flagship features at competitive pricing.
POCO F6 Pro
The POCO F6 Pro highlights a large 6.67-inch Flow AMOLED DotDisplay with WQHD+ resolution and supports up to 4,000nits max brightness, 3840Hz PWM dimming, 120Hz refresh rate, 480Hz touch sampling rate, HDR10+, 12bit color depth, in-display fingerprint scanner, DCI-P3 wide color gamut, and more.
This device offers powerful performance since it is equipped with a 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 octa-core chipset with Adreno 740 GPU. Meanwhile, it is partnered with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.0 internal storage which are both considered too much for today’s standard.
For the camera, the POCO F6 Pro also features a 50MP main shooter, which is a light fusion 800 image sensor, alongside it is the 8MP ultra-wide lens and the 2MP macro camera. Its rear camera can already shoot up to 8K@24fps and 4K@60fps video. There’s also a 16MP selfie camera at the front that can shoot up to 1080p@60fps video.
There’s also a large 5,000mAh battery in this device that supports 120W HyperCharge. POCO claimed that this device can be charged to 100% in just 19 minutes. Besides, it is available in black and white colorways.
POCO F6
POCO also launched the POCO F6, the vanilla variant in the series, which features a large 6.67-inch CrystalRes 1.5K Flow AMOLED DotDisplay that supports 120Hz refresh rate, 480Hz touch sampling rate, up to 2400nits max brightness, 1920Hz PWM dimming, HDR10+, and has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection.
Like the Pro variant, this device also features a powerful performance because it is equipped with a 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 with Adreno 735 GPU and features a Qualcomm AI engine. This device comes with up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.0 internal storage.
The POCO F6 also offers great image quality from its 50MP Sony IMX882 main shooter and 8MP Sony IMX355 ultra-wide lens that can shoot up to 4K@60fps. There’s also a 20MP OV20B front camera for outstanding selfies.
Moreover, it is also equipped with a 5,000mAh battery capacity but only supports 90W turbo charging instead of 120W HyperCharge.
