realme is kicking off 2026 by launching the latest realme 16 Pro Series 5G in India. This series consists of realme 16 Pro+ 5G and realme 16 Pro 5G.

The realme 16 Pro+ 5G features a large 6.8-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, 4,608Hz PWM dimming, HDR10+, up to 6,500 nits max brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection.
It boasts a 200MP main camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), a 50MP telephoto lens with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP selfie shooter. Both rear and front camera supports up to 4K@60fps video resolution.
Under the hood, the 16 Pro+ 5G variant is powered by a 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 octa-core chipset, paired with an Adreno 722 GPU. This is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage.
This phone is also packed with a massive 7,000mAh battery capacity that supports 80W wired charging, reverse charging, and bypass charging.

Meanwhile, there’s also a realme 16 Pro 5G variant that features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display that also supports 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, up to 6,500 nits max brightness, and AGC DT star D+ protection.
It almost has the same camera setup to Plus variant aside from the telephoto lens. It only has a 200MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50Mp selfie camera. Besides, it only supports 4K@30fps video resolution.
The realme 16 Pro 5G variant runs on a lower 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Max chipset with Mali-G615 MC2 GPU. This device also has up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage.
Surprisingly, the 16 Pro 5G also has a massive 7,000mAh battery capacity that also supports 80W wired charging, reverse charging, and bypass charging.
Moreover, both phones run realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16 out of the box.
Price and Availability
The new realme 16 Pro Series 5G is now available in India, with prices starting at INR 31,999 (approximately PHP 21K) for the Pro variant and INR 39,999 (approximately PHP 26.3K) for the Pro+ variant. As of writing, there’s no announcement yet on its local pricing and availability. Stay tuned!
