realme has officially introduced the realme 16 Series 5G in the Philippines through a livestream on its official Facebook page yesterday. The series includes the realme 16 Pro+ 5G, realme 16 Pro 5G, and realme 16 5G.
A major highlight across the Pro models is the 200MP Multi-focal LumaColor Camera System, designed to deliver detailed imaging across multiple focal lengths. The realme 16 Pro+ 5G further elevates this setup with a 50MP 3.5x telephoto lens for improved portrait and zoom photography. Meanwhile, the realme 16 Pro 5G brings the same 200MP main sensor to a more accessible price point.
For the standard model, the realme 16 5G features a dual 50MP portrait camera system powered by a Sony IMX852 sensor, aimed at delivering consistent image quality for everyday use cases.
To support content creation, realme is also introducing AI-driven tools such as AI Edit Genie 2.0, AI Instant Clip, and AI Portrait Glow. Additional creative modes like Vibe Master Mode and AI Photo Popout are also included for more expressive content output.
All three devices are equipped with a large 7000mAh battery. The Pro models support 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging for quick power replenishment.
In terms of performance, the realme 16 Pro+ 5G runs on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, while the realme 16 Pro 5G is powered by the Dimensity 7300 Max. The realme 16 5G uses the Dimensity 6400 Turbo processor. All models feature an Airflow Vapor Chamber Cooling System for thermal management.
Display-wise, the Pro variants feature AMOLED panels with up to 144Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 6,500 nits. The base model offers a 120Hz AMOLED display in a more compact design.
Durability is also emphasized across the lineup with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance. Color options include Master Gold for the Pro+, Pebble Grey and Orchid Purple for the Pro, and Air White and Air Black for the base model, which also includes a Selfie Mirror at the back.
