As the Philippines navigates through another challenging rainy season, staying updated on weather conditions and emergency alerts has become increasingly important. Reliable devices play a key role in ensuring consistent communication and access to critical information when disruptions occur.
realme has introduced two smartphones, the C71 and C75, both designed to prioritize battery life, durability, and dependable performance—features that become essential during prolonged bad weather.
Durability Built for Harsh Conditions
Frequent rain and sudden drops can put smartphones at risk. The realme C71 comes with military-grade shock resistance, daily water protection, and a SonicWave speaker cleaning system that helps clear out moisture. Meanwhile, the C75 offers an even tougher build with IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings, a reinforced ArmorShell™ design, and the ability to withstand drops of up to two meters.
Extended Battery Performance
Power outages are a common issue during storms, making long-lasting batteries crucial. The C71 features a 6,300mAh battery with 45W SUPERVOOC fast charging, capable of reaching 50% in just 36 minutes. The C75 carries a 6,000mAh battery, also with 45W charging, and adds reverse charging for powering other devices in emergencies.
Smooth and Reliable Operation
Both phones are equipped to handle everyday tasks and critical communication needs. The C71 is powered by the Unisoc T7250 processor with up to 18GB RAM (including RAM expansion), while the C75 uses the MediaTek Helio G92 Max with up to 24GB RAM. These configurations support multitasking, video calls, online classes, and timely weather updates without major slowdowns.
Displays Designed for Clarity
Rainy and low-light conditions can make it hard to read screens outdoors. The realme C71 has a 6.67-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 725 nits of brightness, while the C75 offers a larger 6.72-inch FHD+ display protected by ArmorShell glass.
