The long wait is over, as realme has recently released its latest addition to the GT series, the realme GT 6, which is claimed as a “flagship killer”.
realme GT 6 has finally arrived in the Philippines!
This newly arrived realme GT 6 is equipped with the latest 4nm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 octa-core chipset with Adreno 735 GPU. It is paired with plenty of 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS 4.0 internal storage. According to realme, this device can provide us with an almost flagship performance and can get up to a 1.5M score in the AnTuTu benchmark app.
realme GT 6 also highlights its high-quality display which is a 6.78-inch 8T LTPO AMOLED panel with 2780×1264 resolution. Its display supports up to 6,000nits max brightness and 120Hz screen refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, 2,500Hz peak touch sampling rate, and 2,160Hz PWM dimming. Besides, its display also has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
There’s also a punch-hole at the top-center of the display that encases the 32MP Sony IMX615 selfie shooter. Meanwhile, we can see at the back the 50MP Sony LYT808 main shooter with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) along with the 8MP Sony IMX355 ultra-wide lens and 50MP Samsung JN5 2x telephoto lens with 4x in-sensor zoom.
Moreover, the realme GT 6 is available in Fluid Silver and Razer Green Colorway. We haven’t seen it personally but based on the images from realme and other tech websites, it looks very premium and classy.
For battery, this phone has a large 5,500mAh battery capacity that supports a very fast 120W SUPERVOOC charging. Though claimed as a “flagship killer”, it still doesn’t feature any wireless charging.
Out of the box, it runs realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14. At the online launch earlier, realme proudly showcased its AI capabilities and mentioned as well powerful features like Mobile Ray Tracing 2.0.
The realme GT 6 is also claimed the first device to support 120fps on PUBG and CODM in the Snapdragon 8s series smartphone which is very interesting to try.
