realme just launched its very first tablet, the realme Pad. This tablet highlights the 10.4” IPS display and the MediaTek G80.
realme Pad is now official
Today, realme launches the realme Pad along with realme 8s 5G and 8i in their launch event held in India. Actually, a lot of realme fans waited for this launch since one competitor has also released a tablet.
realme Pad features a 10.4-inch WUXGA+ LCD screen with 2000 x 1200 resolution and 360 nits max brightness. Like other tablets, the screen of this device only supports a 60Hz screen refresh rate.
As you can see in the image above, it only has a slim body and slim bezels. Also, it only weighs 440 grams and has a 246.1 x 155.9 x 6.9mm dimension. This tablet also has an 8MP rear camera and an 8MP ultra-wide front camera.
Moreover, realme uses a MediaTek Helio G80 octa-core processor to run this device together with up to 4GB RAM. It also has up to 64GB of internal storage and a large 7100mAh battery that can charge thru an 18W fast charger.
According to realme, the Pad also has reverse charging support. Besides, it already has a USB Type-C port that can give faster transfer speeds compared to the older technology.
It also features Android 11 with realme UI for Pad which is a custom UI intended for this tablet that has a large screen. Further, it has three variants, the base model only has WiFi connectivity, while the two are LTE capable.
In addition, this device has Dolby Atmos quad speakers placed on its four corners. This device is also great for media consumption since its speakers also support Dolby Atmos’ adaptive surround sound.
Other features of this tablet are Multi-Window Mode, Reading Mode, face unlock, and dual-mic noise cancellation. Lastly, the available colors are real Gray and real Gold.

The first sale of realme Pad is on September 16 in India. It will be available on realme.com, Flipkart, and authorized retail stores. However, there’s no information yet when it will be available here in the Philippines so stay tuned!
