Samsung has announced its newest Galaxy A18 and Galaxy A08 to join its entry-level and mid-range smartphone lineup.
The A08 is now available in the Philippines, starting at ₱11,190, while the A18 is expected to arrive in the country by December 2026.
Both smartphones feature Circle to Search with Google, multiple AI agents, IP64-rated dust and splash resistance, and support for up to six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates.
Samsung Galaxy A08 Features
The Galaxy A08 focuses on battery life and everyday performance. It packs a 6,000mAh battery for extended use.

It is powered by a Helio G99+ processor and offers a RAM Plus option for users who need additional virtual memory, though it can be turned off to preserve storage space.
Its camera setup includes a 50MP autofocus main camera, a 2MP depth camera, and an 8MP front camera for selfies and video calls. The Galaxy A08 comes in Dark Blue, Silver, and Green.
Samsung Galaxy A18 Features
The Galaxy A18 features a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display, and like the A08, it runs on the Helio G99+ processor with LPDDR5 memory and RAM Plus.

For photography, the phone features a triple rear camera setup: a 50MP main camera, a 5MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. This gives users more flexibility when taking landscape shots, group photos, and close-up images.
The phone will be available in Black, Silver, and Light Blue.
More A18 and A08 Features
As mentioned, both phones support Circle to Search with Google. The updated experience also includes a Find the Look feature for searching for outfits and identifying nearby music.
Both devices also support multiple AI agents, including Gemini and Perplexity. Users can activate these assistants through voice commands or a long press to help carry out tasks across supported Galaxy, Google, and selected third-party apps.
In addition, both smartphones come with an IP64 rating for dust and water-splash resistance. The A18 also uses a glass-fibre-reinforced polymer back cover, which Samsung says is thinner and stronger than the material used in previous Galaxy A Series smartphones.
For security, both devices feature Samsung Knox and Knox Vault, providing hardware-based protection for sensitive information.
Samsung is also promising up to six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates for both phones, giving users a longer period of software support.
