Samsung has officially unveiled its latest budget mid-range smartphone Galaxy A22 5G. They launched this new Samsung Galaxy smartphone in the United Kingdom along with its 4G LTE variant.
Galaxy A22 5G
The Galaxy A22 5G features a 6.6-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-V display that supports a 90Hz screen refresh rate. Also, this device features the MediaTek Dimensity 700 (MTK6833) Octa-core processor that supports 5G connectivity.
They partnered the processor with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. Besides, this device has a large 5,000mAh battery capacity with USB-C 15W fast charger.
For the camera, it boasts a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 48MP main shooter, a 5MP Ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. And it also has an 8MP front camera for decent selfies.
In addition, it is already running in One UI 3.1 designed for productivity, creativity, and comfortability. While other features are a side fingerprint scanner, WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and 3.5mm headphone jack, and Dolby Atmos.
Moreover, it will come in four different colors: Violet, Mint, White, and Gray.
Galaxy A22 (LTE version)
Furthermore, this variant has a 6.4-inch HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Besides, it also has a 5,000mAh battery capacity with USB-C 15W fast charging support.
Next, it features the MediaTek G80 Octa-core processor, up to 6GB of RAM, and up to 128GB of internal storage. In fact, it is also already running in One UI 3.1 so expect optimized performance on this phone.
However, this variant has a quad-camera setup 48MP main shooter, 8MP Ultra-wide lens, 2MP macro lens, and 2MP depth sensor.
Other features of this phone are 4G LTE Connectivity, side-fingerprint scanner, WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, and Android 11. Besides, the available colors of this phone are Black, White, Mint, and Violet.
Price and availability
The price of the Galaxy A22 LTE variant is not yet announced, but the 5G version is only GBP 199 (around PHP 13.4K). Lastly, these two phones will be available in early summer in the UK. There is no announcement yet they will release it in the Philippines.
