One of the world’s leading music streaming services, Spotify, has announced that they are now adding the lossless audio quality. This lossless audio format is one of the most requested by their users even in recent years. So, it is great news for those audiophiles or hi-fi enthusiasts to what Spotify has announced.
During their Stream On segment, they introduced that Spotify HiFi will come later this year. Spotify HiFI will deliver music CD-quality, it simply provides you a more clarity and depth experience when listening. Originally, the only highest quality available in their audio quality is MP3 320kbps, while HiFi has up to 1411kbps or 16bit/44.1kHz. It means that you can listen to your favorite music in very high-quality audio than before.
Moreover, having hi-res audio files requires you also having headphones that can reproduce them accurately. Therefore, if you want to maximize the experience of the Spotify HiFi you need high-end speakers or headphones.
However, Apple Music still lacks this HiFi streaming quality even they sell the extremely high-end AirPods Max headphones.
