A year after showing off and introducing the satellite internet link in the country, Data Lake of Ultra Bilyonaryo Henry “Big Boy” Sy Jr., together with Anthony Almeda, strengthened their collaboration with Elon Musk, just a year after the launch in the country.
In order to sell the high-speed internet, the starlink kits in every SM Mall in the country, Data Lake and Starlink agreed on a worldwide retailer agreement. This replaces the original enterprise and business reseller agreement that they signed in October 2022.
Henry Sy Jr. stated that “our collaboration with Starlink has showcased the vast potential of our joint endeavors. We’re now amplifying our commitment to ensuring rapid, reliable internet connectivity worldwide.”
The P29,000 starlink kits come with a mounting tripod, a Starlink dish, a modem, and a power supply. The first 1,000 kits purchased at each SM Mall store will receive a 10 percent discount from Data Lake, which is a huge discount for an internet.
Almeda stated that Starlink and Data Lake “are pushing boundaries to make universal internet connectivity a reality.”
Present at the signing were Almeda, David A. Tanael, Jose Cobarrubias, Michael Bell, and Raymond Mercado. Sean Holman and Brian Shin represented Starlink at the signing.
