Trend Micro Philippines will have its free-for-all annual cybersecurity conference on November 14, 2023. Continuing their efforts to bring together cybersecurity professionals and students from across the world, and living true to their motto “,” this year’s conference is themed DECODE 2023: Resilience Rising.

With the ever-changing digital threat landscape powered by new technologies, strategies, and tactics, cybersecurity leaders and practitioners must be equipped with the most up-to-date technology and best practices for optimum resilience.

DECODE 2023: Resilience Rising, now in its seventh year, is preparing to be bigger and better than ever. Unlike last year’s DECODE, which focused on the key processes in identifying and addressing cyber threats through keynote and panel sessions, this year’s conference will highlight and challenge attendees to better understand cyber risk management, data security, infrastructure, human capital, and operations to ultimately strengthen their cybersecurity posture.
In addition to discussions on complex cybercrime cases being led by various local and international law enforcement agencies, attendees can look forward to 24 different track sessions featuring Trend Micro Threat Researchers and Cyber Adversary Monitoring Researchers from around the world on generative AI, automotive hacking, cloud vulnerability, and data breaches.
DECODE 2023 will also feature keynote sessions with respected members of Trend Micro’s ForwardLooking Threat Research team, as well as panel discussions with FBI, Interpol, and local industry experts who will share their knowledge and expertise.
Aside from the track sessions and panel discussions, attendees will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of activities, such as “Get IT Girl!” and take part in an intense Hands-On-Lab training session as well as the Capture the Flag Challenge. The exercises are designed to fill the cybersecurity skills gap by boosting participants’ research abilities and response speed and eventually magnifying participants’ current competence.
Since DECODE’s last fully face-to-face conference in 2019, this year’s conference will be the first to be hosted entirely offline, allowing attendees to widen their networks, create connections, and interact with guest speakers and panelists in real-time. With a full day of events and panel discussions ahead, the conference will undoubtedly be an interesting event for its attendees.
