HMD Global just unveiled its latest affordable Nokia G300 that has 5G connectivity for only USD 200.
Nokia G300
The new Nokia G300 features a 6.5-inch HD+ display that has a V-notch that carries an 8MP selfie camera. There are also considerably outdated and quite large bezels. But of course, with this price point, we cannot expect premium features from this smartphone considering it is a big brand.
At the back, there is a triple camera setup that consists of a 16MP camera, 5MP ultra-wide lens, and 2MP depth sensor. However, this camera setup can already shoot decently. It also has a Night mode, OZO audio surround, and wind noise reduction. Besides, this phone can capture 1080p movies at 60 frames per second and uses electronic image stabilization (EIS) to help shoot smoother footage.
Meanwhile, one of the features that you will love with this phone is the fingerprint scanner. This phone already has a side-fingerprint scanner that also acts as a power button.
Inside of this phone is an affordable 8nm Snapdragon 480 octa-core processor that already supports 5G connectivity.
Moreover, expect up to 2 days of battery life with this device since it has a large 4,470mAh battery capacity. You can charge it with 18W fast charging via a USB Type-C charger.
It also has a standard 4GB RAM which is good for light multi-tasking. You might also need a microSD card with this phone because it only has 64GB of internal storage.
Lastly, this Nokia’s most affordable 5G smartphone is currently for Tracfone and Straight Talk Wireless prepaid customers only. It means it will first be available in the US on October 19, the same day as the Pixel 6 phones launch. But we hope that this phone arrives globally because it is affordable and it already has 5G connectivity.
