After its launch last September, realme narzo 50A arrives in the Philippines with PHP 7,990 pricing.

The realme narzo 50A features a 6.5-inch mini-drop screen with HD+ resolution and an 88.7% screen-to-body ratio. Its screen features Sunlight mode that supports up to 570nits peak brightness. In the top-center, there is an 8MP In-display selfie camera. At the back, there is a 50MP main camera, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP portrait lens.
According to realme, it features Super Nightscape, 10x digital zoom, 50MP mode, beautification, filters, portrait mode, and more for photography. This budget smartphone already supports up to 1080p with up to 60fps video recording. While it does supports 120fps slow motion at 720p video resolution.
Surprisingly, realme still uses the last year’s 12nm MediaTek Helio G85 octa-core budget-gaming processor in this phone. To recall, the narzo 20 and narzo 30A already run with this chipset. However, even though it does not feature the latest chipset, it can still provide you with decent performance.
In addition, it will come with 4GB LPDDR4x RAM and up to 128GB internal storage. You can invest in a memory card if the storage is not enough because it has a microSD card slot.
The narzo 50A also has a 6,000mAh massive battery capacity that supports 18W fast charging via USB Type-C. Besides, you can charge other devices with this smartphone because it already supports reverse charging technology. realme also mentioned that it can last for up to 48 hours call time and 27 hours streaming on YouTube. It can also last 111 hours of streaming Spotify and 8 hours gaming.
This phone runs on realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 out of the box. Just as the narzo 20 and narzo 30A, the fingerprint sensor is still placed at the back. By the way, it possesses a gorgeous modern design that has Oxygen Green and Oxygen Blue colorways.
If you are looking for a camera-centric smartphone that has decent performance, this device is perfect for you. You can use this phone in your online classes or video conferencing. However, you can only do light gaming with this phone since it is not powerful as its competitors.
