An enchanting come back from HONOR as it brings its newest HONOR Magic 4 Pro to Philippines.
After Huawei got blacklisted, HONOR disappeared along with it. Now, it is coming back independent, their phones having Google Mobile Services and uses their own UI called MagicUI.
HONOR Magic 4 Pro is a fast-charging flagship phone that captivates everyone with its top-tier camera performance.
That said, it has a 4,600mAh battery w/ 100W fast charging, wired or wireless. And a 5W wired or wireless reverse charging. Plus, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chipset. Also, an octa-core CPU clocked at a maximum of 3.0GHz, an Adreno 740 GPU. HONOR Magic 4 Pro has up to 12GB of RAM, and up to 512GB of storage. Which gives it better overall performance. The device also has a 120Hz refresh rate. It runs on Magic UI 6.0 (Android 12).
The front houses the 6.81-inch OLED display which curves to the sides. With its top and bottom bezels being thin, giving users an immersive overall viewing experience. On its upper left corner, a 12MP camera and 3D depth and biometric sensor with a pill-shaped hole punch. While at the back is a circular camera module. Wherein the 50MP F1.8 main camera, 50MP F2.2 ultra-wide are being housed. As well as 64MP F2.4 telephoto (3.5x optica, 100x digital, EIS+OIS), ToF sensor and flicker sensor.
The ToF sensor improves image focus speed and accuracy in low light settings. While the flicker sensor, from its name, helps reduce flickers during photoshoots. All this re according to HONOR. It also gives 4K at 30/60fps, 1080p at 30/60fps, gyro-EIS, HDR10, 10-bit video features for the rear cameras. And   4K at 30fps, 1080p at 30fps video for the front.
HONOR Magic 4 Pro also has an in-display fingerprint sensor. With 1312 x 2848 pixels and 19.5 : 9 ratio.
The device has a premium build with the dimensions of 163.6 x 74.7 x 9.15 mm. Making it a bit chunky and heavy with it being 215 g. Despite that, HONOR Magic 4 Pro still gives off high-end quality thanks to the glass panels on front and back. Add to that is the cool metal frame in the middle. With the back panel being a smudge magnet.
Being under Huawei before, HONOR’s designs are still a bit similar to Huawei’s. This phone in particular shares some of its design cues with the Huawei Mate 40. Especially the pill-shaped hole-punch, curved edges, and camera module design. Despite being quite similar, it does not matter. As it is captivating and gives off the vibe of a flagship smartphone. The HONOR Magic 4 Pro sports the colors cyan, gold, white, orange and black which makes it classy and elegant.
It is IP68 dust/water resistant (up to 1.5m for 30 mins). Unfortunately, the phone has no SD card slot, but has a slot for Nano-sim and a dual stand-by. It is also in 4G/5G LTE technology. At the bottom, the SIM card tray is located. Along with the main microphone, USB type C port and the loudspeaker (stereo speakers) is placed. Another thing is that the HONOR Magic 4 Pro, sadly, does not have a 3.5mm jack port. But it has a 24-bit audio stereo recording.
At the top is another loudspeaker, microphone plus the IR blaster. The device’s comm features include a Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot and 5.2, A2DP, LE, aptX HD Bluetooth. It also has A-GPS. Which is up to tri-band, the GLONASS (1), BDS (3), GALILEO (2). Equipped with NFC and infrared port.
It also provides a Face ID for additional security like every other phones now. Also with an accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass and color spectrum. With an ultra-wideband (UWB) support.
